BLACKBOARD DRAWINGS

1977-2002

  BETWEEN 1977 and 2002 my publicly exhibited works were huge chalk

drawings made directly on the exhibition space walls with a special alkyd

resin coating called BLACKBOARD SLATING. In 1985 I began to document many of these temporary changing drawings on video so that the majority of

the work you see here as still photographs are many of my earliest experiments in this media.
